ANNOUNCEMENT:

ProMedView Expands Community Support Efforts, Continuing the Mission of COVID Care Group

As the fight against Long COVID and other post-viral complications continues, ProMedView is stepping up to ensure that those affected receive the advocacy, support, and resources they need. Building on the foundation established by COVID Care Group, ProMedView is expanding its commitment to serving the Long COVID community. Founded in 2021, COVID Care Group was a pioneering organization dedicated to advocating for Long COVID patients, offering support programs, medical guidance, and coaching services during one of the most challenging public health crises in history. Over the years, the organization became a lifeline for thousands of individuals struggling with the long-term effects of the virus, helping to bridge the gap between medical care and real-world recovery.  With the dissolution of COVID Care Group in early 2024, ProMedView has taken up the mantle, ensuring that the essential services and advocacy work continue. The company, known for its workers’ compensation behavioral health services and evidence-based clinical solutions, is integrating Long COVID advocacy into its broader mission of supporting individuals facing complex medical and psychological challenges.  Beyond Long COVID, ProMedView’s expertise in workers’ compensation behavioral health allows it to advocate for individuals recovering from traumatic injuries, occupational illnesses, and chronic conditions, ensuring they receive comprehensive, biopsychosocial care that promotes long-term well-being.

"We recognize the critical need to continue the work started by COVID Care Group," said Delainne Bond, BSN, RN, founder of ProMedView and a longtime advocate for Long COVID patients. "These individuals still require support, guidance, and advocacy, and ProMedView is uniquely positioned to offer that through our expertise in medical case management, behavioral health, and long-term recovery solutions. The healthcare system still has gaps when it comes to addressing post-viral conditions like Long COVID."  Bond added. "By continuing this mission under ProMedView, we’re not only maintaining the community support efforts of COVID Care Group but also expanding them to include a broader network of healthcare solutions."

As ProMedView moves forward, it remains committed to patient-centered care, clinical innovation, and advocacy, ensuring that individuals struggling with Long COVID and other complex health challenges are not left behind.  For more information about ProMedView’s services and ongoing community support efforts, we invite you to explore the www.ProMedView.com website.

Continuing the mission…

The covidCAREgroup was founded to address the global needs of the millions of people experiencing Long COVID, and ProMedView is committed to continuing this mission.  We are connecting the dots of Long COVID through education and resources for those experiencing long-term, chronic medical and neurological sequelae of the virus.

Our mission is to increase awareness of long COVID and to support the long COVID community as sufferers recapture their medical, social, and psychological health.  Our global community includes medical professionals and community members from every country in the world.  We strive to raise awareness of Long COVID through collaboration to ensure updated information about post COVID syndrome is disseminated.

The covidCAREgroup hosts the largest clinical support group on social media in the world. In 2024, our global reach exceeded 10 million people in 110 countries, all striving for Long COVID symptom management and recovery as they adapt to their “new norm”.

Emerging research indicates that early intervention decreases the risks of the development and severity of Long COVID.  The covidCAREgroup's clinical team has identified the key benchmark of 3-12 weeks for early intervention with medication protocols and behavioral modification to prevent long term and permanently disabling sequelae, however, we have observed a major barrier to identifying Long COVID early enough to hit this benchmark due to lack of awareness in the public and the medical community.  Other barriers to recovery may include the loss of employment, reduced income, and loss of medical insurance.

Our resources are screened for validity, and our information is supported by evidence-based research and clinical oversight. Our research page hosts groundbreaking independent and collaborative Long COVID research including clinical trials for Long COVID treatments with clinicaltrials.gov, and partnerships with universities worldwide.
